Nonye practices in restructuring and insolvency law. She has advised debtors, lenders and court appointed officers on matters under the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act and the Companies Creditors Arrangement Act. Her practice includes guiding clients through distressed business restructurings, receiverships and asset realization. Nonye regularly appears at the Supreme Court of British Columbia and has appeared at the British Columbia Court of Appeal.

Before joining the firm, Nonye trained at a boutique law firm specializing in litigation, insolvency and restructuring. Clients additionally benefit from her previous background in financial analysis, strengthening her ability to comprehensively assess and assist distressed businesses.

During law school, Nonye served as president of the University of British Columbia Black Law Student Association where she led the provinces only Black pre-law conference. She additionally completed a clinical placement with a family law practice gaining experience preparing court materials and developing practical advocacy skills.
