Advising TPG Real Estate on their acquisition and financing of a 50% stake in a UK logistics portfolio (valued at GBP700m) as a joint venture with M&G.
Advising Ares on the acquisition, financing and development of a 1.5 million square foot industrial estate with a value of GBP150m.
Advising Ares on the acquisition and financing of a mixed use central London portfolio with a value in excess of GBP120m.
Acting for 4th Industrial on the acquisition, financing and ongoing management of their entire UK logistics portfolio.
Leading the DLA Piper real estate team advising CBRE Loan Services on their GBP280m commercial mortgage backed security (CMBS) backed Toys 'R' Us 'Duke Portfolio'. Dealing with this high profile portfolio included the proposed redevelopment of strategic multi-million pound city centre mixed use schemes along with a number of investment focused occupational transactions and ultimate disposals.
Acting for Greater Manchester Pension Fund on their disposal of 3-8 Whitehall to L&G for GBP155m and on a variety of acquisitions.
Acting for Gordon Brothers in acquiring discount retailer Poundland (which has over 800 stores across the UK and Ireland) and the provision of up to GBP80 million in financing to support the Poundland management team's restructuring and turnaround plan.
Acting for Maslow Capital in funding Vita Group's GBP180m BTR scheme at Port Street, Manchester.
Acting for Union Investment on the disposal of Finsbury Circus House to a joint venture between Aware Super and Delancey.
Acquisition and forward funding of a 700 unit GBP100m PRS scheme in Manchester (the largest BTR scheme outside of London at the time).
Advising Transport for Greater Manchester on the new tram extension from Manchester City Centre to The Trafford Centre including acquiring numerous freehold and leasehold interests along the new route under a variety of agreements, leases and transfers.
Acting on behalf of a number of hotel developers, funders and operators (including Unilever, Resident, Dakota, Room2 and others) on a variety of developments, investments and refinances across the United Kingdom.
