Eric Wingert advises Austrian and foreign companies on domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions and on matters of corporate finance and Austrian corporate law.

His practice also focuses on acquisitions and dispositions of majority shareholdings, minority investments, cross-border private equity transactions and venture capital financings, joint ventures, and cross-border restructurings. He also has significant experience in structured finance and other debt financings and gained several years of in-house experience with a focus on transactions and project development in a then publicly listed wholesale power generation business.

He regularly advises emerging companies and established corporations in the technology, energy and natural resources, and financial services sectors.

  • Renesas Electronics Corporation, a Japanese semiconductor manufacturer, in the acquisition of all shares in Panthronics, a semiconductor company specialising in high-performance wireless products.
  • YouGov on the acquisition of GfK's consumer panel business, with panels in 16 European countries for a headline purchase price of EUR315m.
  • Leidos Inc., a US-American defense, aviation, information technology, and biomedical research company, on the sale of its stake in AW Software und Technologie GmbH as part of a management buy-out.
  • A global manufacturer and supplier industrial seals, fluid control and fluid monitoring in structuring and implementing a cross-border reorganisation of its group holding structure.
