About

Christine focuses her practice on government and internal investigations, regulatory enforcement, and compliance matters. As the co-leader of the White-collar Crime and Investigations practice for the firm's Life Sciences Sector, she brings extensive experience in guiding multinational companies through complex legal and regulatory challenges.

Christine has led internal and government-facing investigations across Asia, including mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, India, the Philippines, Malaysia, and Singapore. She possesses deep expertise in investigations and compliance for multinational pharmaceutical, medical device, and healthcare companies operating in the Greater China region.

She regularly advises clients on matters involving the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), financial fraud, conflict of interest, internal controls, and other white-collar crimes. Additionally, she provides guidance on risk assessments, compliance programs, due diligence for mergers and acquisitions, and internal training.

Christine has represented clients across a broad array of industries, including life sciences, healthcare, consumer goods, industrials, technology, manufacturing, automotive, energy and natural resources.

Corporate Investigations

  • Acted for a global technology company in multiple internal investigations across India and China, and a self-disclosure to the U.S. DOJ and SEC regarding alleged FCPA violations.
  • Represented a multinational pharmaceutical company in an SEC investigation concerning potential FCPA violations in Malaysia.
  • Advised a global life sciences company on an internal investigation into alleged FCPA violations in India.
  • Represented a U.S. pharmaceutical company in a joint SEC and DOJ investigation into alleged FCPA misconduct in China.
  • Advised a global technology company in responding to a Congressional investigation in the Philippines.
  • Represented a global consumer goods company in multiple China-based internal investigations involving allegations of financial fraud, embezzlement, and employee misconduct.
  • Led a high-stakes internal investigation for a global medical device company concerning potential violations of Chinese criminal codes.
  • Conducted multiple internal investigations for a global industrial company into senior management conflicts of interest and supply chain corruption.
