DLA Piper advises ALBIS on establishing a joint venture in India

DLA Piper has advised ALBIS, a leading global distributor of engineering thermoplastics and thermoplastic elastomers, on establishing a joint venture in India with the Sukhesh Group, a Mumbai-based leading distributor of plastic raw materials. The joint venture, established under the name ALBIS Sukhesh India Pvt. Ltd will be based in Mumbai, and aims to achieve a leading position in the Indian distribution market for technical plastics.

The joint venture marks ALBIS's entry into the Indian market and represents a key pillar of the company’s global growth strategy. By combining ALBIS’s comprehensive product portfolio, technical sales expertise, and strong relationships with global polymer manufacturers with the Sukhesh Group’s nationwide logistics network and more than 30 years of experience in polymer distribution, the newly formed entity establishes a robust foundation for an efficient and effective market approach.
