Energy Alliances 2026: The allied tech stack
Climate Week NYC 2026Wednesday, September 23, 2026
World governments can no longer consider critical minerals, advanced energy technologies, AI, and space as discrete industries – they are a single allied industrial stack. Those who control the supply chains and build the coalitions will determine who leads the next century.
DLA Piper and MILE hosted Energy Alliances 2026, discussing ways allied nations and private capital can move together across these sectors.
The afternoon began with a keynote exploring the convergence of these industries, followed by three panels examining the most pressing challenges and opportunities:
- Securing the Foundation: Critical Minerals and the New Resource of Statecraft
- The Dual-Use Bridge: High-Energy Systems from Civilian Power to Allied Security
- The Space Sandbox
Interspersed throughout the program, start-up pitch sessions showcased emerging companies operating at the intersections of critical minerals, nuclear and fusion energy technologies, AI, and space. The program concluded with a fireside chat on AI and the allied industrial stack, followed by a cocktail reception.
