Pensions Round-Up February 2021

In this edition of Pensions Round-Up we look at key developments in pensions legislation, case law and regulatory guidance from February 2021 including:

  • The Pensions Regulator: the results of the Regulator’s annual survey of trust-based occupational DC pension schemes; and the Regulator’s latest compliance and enforcement bulletin.
  • HM Treasury: a consultation relating to increasing the normal minimum pension age.
  • Department for Work and Pensions: the government response to the call for evidence on the alternative quality requirements for DB schemes.
  • GMP Equalisation Working Group: the publication of a guidance note on tax issues.
  • Legislation: an update on the Pension Schemes Act 2021; and the publication of a call for input by the Pensions Dashboards Programme.
