Eric Carter advises banks and private credit funds on a broad range of financing transactions – including cross-border, middle-market, sponsor-led, syndicated, and direct lending and regularly represents lenders – in structuring, negotiating, and executing growth debt facilities (such as venture debt and middle-market financings) for technology, life sciences, healthcare, fintech, and other high-growth companies.

Prior to joining DLA Piper, Eric played professional basketball in several countries in Europe, including for Sopron KC Basket, Hungary and Union Neuchâtel Basket, Switzerland.
