Jason Jose is a litigation associate whose practice encompasses white-collar criminal defense, internal and government investigations, and complex commercial litigation. Jason represents companies and individuals in investigations conducted by the US Department of Justice and Securities and Exchange Commission, as well as other federal and state government agencies. Additionally, Jason assists with advising clients in compliance and financial services matters, and other matters implicating the securities laws. Jason received his J.D. from Boston College Law School.
While in law school, Jason interned at the US Attorney’s Office for the District of Massachusetts, Civil Division, where he supported the office’s Affirmative Civil Enforcement Unit in investigations and litigation implicating the False Claims Act and Anti-Kickback Statute. Jason also served as a SJC 3:03 student attorney with the Massachusetts Office of the Attorney General, where he represented state agencies and officials in state courts as part of the Government Bureau’s Constitutional & Administrative Law Division.
In law school, Jason served as executive managing editor of the Boston College Law Review, president of the Disability Law Student Association, and vice president of the Asian Pacific-American Law Student Association. Jason also served as a research assistant for Professor Mark S. Brodin and as a teaching assistant for a first-year Critical Perspectives in Law and Identity course.
Jason maintains an active and varied pro bono practice. He serves as a legal mentor with Discovering Justice and assists with the representation of indigent criminal defendants in federal cases under the Criminal Justice Act.
