Black and Indigenous Business Law Clinic in Canada

DLA Piper Canada is now accepting applications from qualifying businesses in British Columbia or Ontario to our pro-bono Black and Indigenous Business Law Clinic (the “Clinic”). Now in its fifth year, The Clinic provides Black or Indigenous business owners with practical and timely corporate and commercial advice on issues commonly faced by entrepreneurs and small business owners.

Some of the matters the Clinic has advised on include structuring and incorporation of legal entities, employment, e-commerce, certain intellectual property matters, lease reviews and contractual matters. The Clinic also runs educational seminars designed to help first-time business owners understand and navigate the challenges of growing their business.
