Sal Favuzza

Sal's practice primarily involves representing private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies in complex corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures and recapitalizations. He also counsels clients on a wide variety of corporate governance and general corporate issues.

In his practice, Sal has represented public, private and start-up companies and financial investors in a broad range of industries in the negotiation and execution of a wide variety of acquisition and disposition transactions, including public and private company mergers, stock acquisitions, asset acquisitions and divestitures, and has advised on defensive strategies, fiduciary duties of directors and other related matters. Sal has represented companies in securities transactions from initial funding, through venture financing rounds and in public and private offerings. Additionally, Sal has extensive experience in assisting clients in analyzing issues relating to the Corporate Practice of Medicine, the Stark Law and the Anti-Kickback Statute.
