DLA Piper appoints strategic leadership roles in Asia Employment practice

DLA Piper today announces important changes in its Asia employment practice. Helen Colquhoun has been appointed as Head of Employment for Asia. Helen previously headed up the firm’s Hong Kong employment practice.

Helen joined DLA Piper in 2017 and has been critical in successfully growing its Hong Kong employment practice over the past five years. She advises clients on complex employment matters across a range of sectors, earning a reputation for being extremely knowledgeable, practical and solution oriented, and is well liked and respected by clients and colleagues alike.

DLA Piper also announces the appointment of Johnny Choi, Head of Employment for China, to lead our Greater Bay Area employment initiative, expanding his existing China role. Johnny joined the firm in 2015 and is widely recognised as a leading lawyer with extensive PRC employment knowledge and expertise.

DLA Piper currently has employment lawyers based in Hong Kong, Mainland China, Singapore, Tokyo and Bangkok.
