Canada - A Fresh Look at Delay Experts and Procurement Risks

Howard Krupat, partner in the DLA Piper Toronto office, assembled and edited a Special Issue of Canada’s Construction Law Letter (a LexisNexis publication) on Delay Experts for the May/June 2023 edition of that publication. Howard canvassed a broad group of delay experts, arbitrators and lawyers for their insights, including Anthony Meagher of the DLA Piper Baltimore office. Also in May of 2023, Howard moderated an industry discussion for the Toronto Construction Association (TCA) on Procurement Risks and Solutions, featuring a panel made up of developer, contractor and subcontractor representatives. Howard chairs the TCA’s Allied Professions Committee and serves on the TCA’s Board and Executive Committee. Read more
