Marta Frąckowiak re-elected to DLA Piper International Board

Marta Frąckowiak, partner and head of the Corporate and M&A practice at DLA Piper’s Warsaw office, has been re-elected to the firm’s International Board, becoming the first woman from Central and Eastern Europe to be chosen for a second term on the senior governance body of DLA Piper International LLP.

The International Board supports the organisation’s long-term success and sustainability, exercising strategic oversight and decision making which takes into account the interests of the firm’s people, clients and wider communities. Marta’s new term of office, representing the EMEA region, will begin on 1 January 2023 and will end on 31 December 2026. She was first appointed to the position on 1 June 2021.

Marta leads the Corporate practice which consists of over 30 lawyers in Poland and has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions. In addition, she advises clients on asset transactions international corporate reorganisation processes, franchise and distribution matters.

Marta is also an active promotor of pro bono work within the firm and a strong advocate of DLA Piper’s values. This includes a focus on diversity and inclusion, which will continue to be one of her main priorities over the coming years.
