Jamie represents clients through all phases of litigation, from pre-suit investigations and emergency injunctive proceedings to dispositive motion practice and trial. She is routinely called upon to lead comprehensive fact investigations, preform on-site inspections, and develop evidentiary records in matters involving significant operational, environmental, and public-facing consequences. Her work often requires rapid deployment, close coordination with technical experts and regulators and decisive judgement in real time.

Jamie has extensive experience advising clients in "bet-the-company" matters, including government and regulatory investigations, healthcare litigation, criminal defense, and complex business disputes. She is known for her ability to assess liability exposure quickly, identify pressure points, and execute litigation strategies designed to control risk, preserve defenses, and position matters for favorable resolution—or trial when necessary.

A significant portion of Jamie's practice sits at the intersection of litigation, regulation, and public accountability. She has advised media organizations across the United States on First Amendment issues, including defamation and Anti-SLAPP matters, and has handled disputes where legal strategy must account for parallel regulatory action, public scrutiny, and reputational impact.

Prior to joining DLA Piper, Jamie was an associate at an Am Law 30 international law firm.

Prior to entering private practice, Jamie served as a judicial intern to the Honorable Kimberly Budd of the Supreme Judicial Court of Massachusetts. Before law school, she worked as an associate producer at CNN in Washington, DC, covering the US Supreme Court, national politics, and high-profile trials—experience that continues to inform her strategic approach to litigation involving regulatory oversight, public exposure, and crisis management. An accomplished advocate, Jamie won the Wendell M. Grimes Moot Court Competition after successfully arguing the unconstitutionality of a federal immigration statute. She served as a writer for the Uniform Commercial Code Reporter-Digest and was President of the American Constitution Society.

Jamie graduated with honors from the University of Chicago, where she was selected as a commencement speaker.
