John Hamill named a 2021 Plaintiff's Lawyer Trailblazer by National Law Journal

DLA Piper is pleased to announce that John Hamill, US co-chair of the firm’s Business and Commercial Litigation practice, has been named a 2021 Plaintiff’s Lawyer Trailblazer by the National Law Journal.

The publication highlighted Hamill’s practice representing sophisticated business plaintiffs in commercial litigation, including in various regulated industries, as well as his “vigorous pro bono practice” representing plaintiffs seeking relief under §1983 civil rights action. 

Hamill’s practice has covered trial and appellate courts and arbitral forums across the nation. He has handled a wide range of disputes and complex litigation, including in the areas of antitrust, healthcare, telecommunications, insurance, sports, professional responsibility and energy, as well as a range of class actions and other general business litigation. He regularly counsels clients in a wide variety of antitrust, RICO and unfair competition matters, and he has tried multiple civil rights cases for pro bono clients.
