Paul F. Wight focuses on matters related to restructured electricity markets and new energy technologies. He litigates high-profile disputes at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) related to electricity market design and operation, with particular experience in issues involving data centers. He defends companies in FERC enforcement actions, including those involving allegations of market manipulation. He assists project developers in interconnection and market participation.

Paul also concentrates on energy transactional matters, including issues related to utility mergers, asset acquisitions and dispositions, power purchase agreements, contracts, and other FERC-jurisdictional transactions.

Paul leads DLA Piper's energy regulatory team.
