DLA Piper advises on financing transaction for the consolidation of IVI-RMA Group in the UK

DLA Piper has advised the banking syndicate led by Banco Santander and comprising, among others, CaixaBank, BBVA and Banco de Sabadell, on a syndicated financing for the IVI-RMA Group for the acquisition of UK-based Create Fertility, as well as to finance certain corporate purposes.

IVI-RMA, the world's leading reproductive medicine group, has acquired 21 Create Fertility centres and with this transaction consolidates its presence in the UK.

The financial law team was led by César Herrero, partner at DLA Piper and head of the Financing, Projects & restructuring practice, working with Alberto Rubio, senior associate, and Sara Espina, associate. Nerea Cemlyn-Jones, English law of counsel, and Jamie Knox, partner in DLA Piper's New York office, also participated in the transaction as advisors in those jurisdictions.
