Triple win for DLA Piper Patent team at the Managing IP Awards 2024

Global law firm DLA Piper has been recognised in three categories at the Managing IP EMEA Awards, held in London on 11 April 2024.

The firm took home the awards for Ireland Patent Disputes Firm of the Year, and France Impact Case of the Year for work on Laboratoires Vivacy v Teoxane. Our multi-jurisdictional litigation work was also recognised with the Europe Cross-Border Patent Litigation Team of the Year award, for its work on Merck Sharp & Dohme (Sitagliptin) against generics.

Gualtiero Dragotti, Partner and Global Co-Chair of DLA Piper’s Patent group, commented: “These awards are testament to the complex local and cross-border patent litigation successfully undertaken by the team, and the hard work and dedication that goes in to delivering such successful outcomes for our clients. Congratulations to the team on this well-deserved recognition.”

The Managing IP Awards recognise remarkable IP-related achievements over the past 12 months. The awards are based on independent research, involving thousands of firms, IP practitioners, and their clients through interviews, email, and online surveys.
