Constance Du is a business-minded litigator who combines hands-on courtroom experience with a forward-thinking command of technology and a deep commitment to public service.

Constance handles a variety of high-stakes commercial disputes across the country, including antitrust class actions, securities and bankruptcy litigation, arbitrations, and investigations. She guides clients from pre-suit counselling through trial and appeal, leveraging her technological fluency to deliver tailor-made results. She has argued and won dispositive motions, emergency injunctions, and bench trials; led successful settlement negotiations in federal court; and developed cutting-edge discovery solutions to drive efficiency and value for her clients.

A former Krantz Pro Bono fellow, Constance maintains an active international pro bono practice, focused on civil rights and impact litigation work. She also serves on several boards in Chicago's legal services community, including the Chicago Bar Foundation and Chicago Volunteer Legal Services.

  • Obtained a bench verdict in favor of a Chicagoland 501(c)(3) fair housing organization
  • Authored and argued dispositive motions, emergency temporary restraining orders (TROs), and motions for preliminary injunction in federal and state courts
  • Independently deposed key fact and corporate representative witnesses in civil rights and Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) proceedings

  • Pioneered DLA's first artificial intelligence (AI)-assisted document-review workflows, partnering with litigation-support and data-science teams to cut review time and cost by double-digit percentages
  • Advises clients on litigation-driven risk management and budgeting strategy, serving as the day-to-day relationship lead alongside engagement partners
