Meagan Ekimoff has broad experience representing owners, purchasers and developers in a variety of transactions across the United States.  

Meagan’s practice includes first chair experience advising clients on acquisitions and dispositions, financing and development transactions involving office, multi-family, manufactured housing, retail and industrial assets.

EXPERIENCE

  • Primary responsibility for representing a real estate investor and developer in the acquisition, financing, redevelopment and management of a US$450 million mixed-use project in Washington, D.C
  • Primary responsibility for representing a private equity fund in the acquisition and financing of a large portfolio of manufactured housing communities.  Meagan also regularly counsels the fund on asset management matters that arise in connection with such communities
  • Represented a private equity fund in the sale of a US$50 million manufactured housing portfolio in Florida
  • Represented a private equity fund in the sale of a US$70 million manufactured housing portfolio in Florida
  • Represented a private equity fund in the disposition of several multi-family projects located across the United States, including Connecticut, Tennessee, North Carolina, Georgia and Virginia
  • Represented a private equity fund in the acquisition and development of a multi-family project in Massachusetts, including a US$63 million construction loan
  • Represented a private equity fund in connection with the acquisition and redevelopment of two industrial properties in New Jersey
  • Represented a private investor in the acquisition and financing of a US$70 million Class B mixed-use building in Washington, D.C
  • Represented manager in the negotiation of a construction management agreement for a 175,000 square foot office building in Northern Virginia
  • Represented a public REIT in the disposition of a US$250 million office building in Northern Virginia
  • Represented a public REIT in the disposition of a US$119 million government leased office building in Washington, D.C
  • Represented two co-lenders in the US$77 million financing of a single tenant office building in Pennsylvania
  • Meagan regularly advises building owners and asset managers in matters arising in connection with the acquisition and disposition of assets leased by the General Services Administration and other US Government agencies, and advises on Federal laws and regulations that affect these transactions, some of which involve highly secure Government facilities and operations
