Advising KLN Investment (US) LLC (an indirect wholly owned subsidiary of Kerry Logistics Network Limited) with its acquisition of the Topocean Group, one of the world’s leading freight forwarding and logistics service provider, for USD240m.
Advising CVS Health and Aetna with its disposal of private medical insurance business outside of the Americas and India to Allianz, including portfolio transfers in Hong Kong and Singapore.
Advising Aetna with its disposal of Thailand insurance business through a share sale to Allianz, including the related transitional services and trademark licensing arrangements.
Advising Stillfront Group with its acquisition (and taking out of W&I cover) of 100 percent of the shares in Six Waves Inc., a gaming studio headquartered in Hong Kong, for USD300m.
Advising Pelican Ventures on acquisition of the Lloyds Hong Kong Coverholder of the Argo Group.
Advising BrewDog PLC on its joint venture with Budweiser to brew beers under Budweiser’s brands locally in China and to access Budweiser’s sales and distribution network in China, and also on the plan to open new hospitality venues in China by 2026, building on BrewDog’s sole Chinese bar in Shanghai and adding to its existing international network of more than 110 bars.
Advising Marsh & McLennan Companies, a renowned insurance intermediary group, in their global post-acquisition integration (with the former Jardine Lloyd Thompson Group) in Hong Kong, Taiwan, Philippines and Macau, which includes business transfers, share transfers, mergers, and various submissions to the local insurance regulators.
Advising Softbank with its Series B investment into the Sandbox, the world’s largest virtual gaming world based on blockchain, with a total of USD93m raised.
Advising SIFI S.p.A. with its joint venture with AffaMed Therapeutics on premium innovative intraocular lenses in the PRC, including Taiwan, Macau and Hong Kong.
Advising Arcadis N.V. on the sale of its Hong Kong design and engineering and Singapore consulting businesses (together having approximately 500 employees) to Global Infrastructure Solutions Inc. (“GISI”), which shall double the size of GISI Asia operations.
Advising Wilson HCG Group on acquisition of the Profile Group, an executive-search group with business in Hong Kong and Singapore.
Advising on the disposal of renewal rights and related IP rights of a managing general agent in Hong Kong and Singapore to an authorised insurer and advising on the transitional services arrangement.
Advising on acquisition of a renowned life insurance company in Hong Kong with its affiliated bancassurance channel.
Advising on acquisition of a majority stake in a prominent life insurance company in Hong Kong and advising on the various bancassurance agreements with its potential banking partners.
