Mike Nagelberg represents diverse clients from numerous industries in complex environmental matters that span litigation, enforcement, investigations, administrative rulemaking challenges, and regulatory compliance.
He assists with navigating through cutting edge, highly technical, and often unprecedented environmental issues and rulemakings that arise under CERCLA, RCRA, the Clean Air Act, the Clean Water Act, FIFRA, TSCA, the Administrative Procedure Act, and state environmental laws, with a holistic focus on both successful case resolution and preserving his clients' reputational and business interests. Mike also has significant toxic tort, emerging contaminants, and associated product liability litigation and regulatory experience, having litigated and counseled on matters involving PFAS, 1,4-dioxane, and ethylene oxide contamination. His cross-practice environmental capabilities further extend to assisting clients with environmental due diligence and litigation risk analysis for corporate and real estate transactions.
