Thomas Prentice maintains a general corporate commercial practice with a focus on securities and ‎corporate ‎finance, mergers and acquisitions, financial services, and private equity and venture capital ‎matters.‎

Thomas has experience advising clients based both in Canada and abroad in corporate and securities law, ‎corporate finance, and a variety of corporate matters including mergers and acquisitions, cross-border ‎transactions, corporate governance, public ‎offerings and private placement financings. Thomas completed ‎his articles at DLA Piper (Canada) LLP’s Toronto office.‎

Thomas received his J.D. from Osgoode Hall Law School where he acted as the president of the Osgoode ‎Business Law Society. Following his first year, Thomas completed an internship with the United Nations ‎Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights in Geneva, Switzerland. In 2021 Thomas competed in ‎the International Law School Mediation Tournament hosted by the University of Georgia, Tbilisi, where the ‎Osgoode Hall Law School team went on to win first prize.  ‎
