Parada has broad experience in employment advice, corporate governance, employment disputes, bankruptcy cases and commercial disputes. He has represented Thai and multinational companies in a wide range of labour and employment matters. Particularly he has a strong background on the labour court proceedings.

Parada is licenced by Thailand's Ministry of Labour to act as a Labour Relations Advisor, authorising him to engage with labour unions in collective bargaining negotiations on behalf of corporate clients.

EXPERIENCE

  • Advising both employers and employees on labour and employment issues arising from employment contract and labour relations.   
  • Representing both employers and employees in various labour disputes ranging from negotiations to court proceedings.   
  • Advising and representing a well-known international school in claims brought by its employees and labour union relating to statutory payments, breach of employment contract and unfair dismissal.       
  • Representing a multinational pharmaceutical company in claims brought by its employees relating to breach of employment contracts and unfair dismissal.
  • Advising and representing one of the biggest oil and gas companies in Thailand in court proceedings arising from pension scheme disputes.   
  • Advising and assisting Japanese companies in restructuring their workforce and implementing the restructuring, including preparing relevant documents.
