Jan De Beul is a litigation and insolvency lawyer with a particular focus on the financial services, transportation and aviation, construction and real estate, and consumer goods and retail sectors. He is often consulted by both SMEs and multinationals.

His litigation work involves advising and representing clients before the Belgian courts and before arbitral tribunals in a wide array of disputes. Jan regularly handles shareholders’ and other corporate disputes (such as those relating to the sale of shares) and often acts for real estate developers, investors and contractors on various construction litigations. He is also consulted by clients on other contentious or potentially contentious matters. He has experience with both single-jurisdiction as well as cross-border disputes, including the recognition and enforcement of judgments and arbitral awards.
