Alex has extensive experience handling a wide range of environmental, construction, ‎employment, and insurance defence litigation matters. ‎

Alex practises civil and commercial litigation for a number of clients, including construction companies, oil ‎and gas companies, car dealerships, insurance companies, and pension funds. Alex focuses on ‎environmental law, employment law, life insurance and long term disability defence work, as well as ‎pensions and benefits litigation. ‎

Alexandra is a member of the firm's civil litigation department. She has extensive experience in a wide ‎variety of complex commercial and contractual disputes and has successfully appeared in every level of ‎the Court of Alberta, every level of the Court of the Northwest Territories, and has appeared in the Federal ‎Tax Court.  She is also a member of the Saskatchewan bar, where she deals with complex environmental ‎disputes.‎

Alexandra’s extensive expertise in complex environmental law litigation includes alleged contamination in ‎the civil context, advising clients regarding environmental liability, and defending environmental ‎prosecutions under federal and provincial legislation, including two prominent prosecutions under the ‎Fisheries Act. She has also successfully acted for entities charged with regulatory offences under the ‎Safety Codes Act and Cemeteries Act. ‎
