Sanctions and Export Controls Implications for Israeli Companies

On November 30, 2022, we had the honor of co-sponsoring the ‘Sanctions and Export Controls: Implications for Israeli Companies’ seminar with our colleagues from the Israeli law firm Gornitzky. We kicked off the event with cocktails, food, and networking, followed by a panel discussion. Nathaniel Bolin (Partner, DLA Piper Washington D.C.), Nicholas Klein (Partner, DLA Piper Washington D.C.), and Assaf Harel (Partner, GNY) provided insights into recent developments in sanctions and export controls and how these issues are affecting many Israeli companies. They also spoke about how the US, EU and UK have imposed severe and escalating sanctions and export control restrictions on Russia and Belarus, and to some extent on China. The presentation concluded with a very interactive Q&A panel. The night ended with some more cocktails, food, and networking.
