October marks Black History Month and as part of DLA Piper’s celebrations this year, we will be shining a lens on Black leadership. October is a time to celebrate and reflect on the contribution of Black people and their impact in shaping history, inspiring change, and building communities.

We are delighted to invite you to an evening with Dr. I. Stephanie Boyce, hosted by Jon Hayes, Global Co-Chair, Senior Partner, DLA Piper.

Dr. I. Stephanie Boyce made history by becoming the 177th, the sixth female, the first Black, the first person of colour, and the second in-house solicitor in almost fifty years to become president of the Law Society of England and Wales in March 2021.

Stephanie, a multi-award-winning lawyer and inspirational leader, will be joining us to tell her story of perseverance, courage, strength, and determination, from council estate to Law Society President. There will also be time at the end to ask Dr. I. Stephanie Boyce your questions.
