DC Leadership Alliance for Women (LAW) Resource Group - HERstorical Places & Feminist Spaces

DLA Piper’s DC LAW presents a unique networking opportunity to learn about women’s history in Washington, DC. A Tour of Her Own’s Herstorical Places & Feminist Spaces will show women’s history and DC culture through the lens of public art, tourism, preservation, and services. Led by a licensed professional guide, the group will explore DC’s most iconic sites while learning about women who have made an impact on American history, from first ladies to suffragists and Supreme Court justices. The bus tour will begin and end at DLA Piper’s Washington, DC office with a mid-tour stop at Hotel Zena, where the group will sip cocktails, network, and enjoy light bites at Hedy’s Rooftop, a seasonal upscale lounge named in honor of Hedy Lamarr, the groundbreaking actress, inventor, and film producer whose patents for radiofrequency hopping have been recognized as the blueprint for Bluetooth technology.
