Volunteering and Lunch with Wall Street Journal Reporter Greg Zuckerman

On November 12, we were privileged to have Gregory Zuckerman, investigative reporter at The Wall Street Journal, and client Laurie Bennett, General Counsel at Amadeus Hospitality, join our team and some of family members to volunteer at the logistics center of United Hatzalah of Israel. Together, we packed 60 emergency medical backpacks for United Hatzalah first responders. We continue to be awed by the magnitude of United Hatzalah’s impact and scope, and we look forward to continuing to volunteer and lend our financial support to the organization.

Afterward, during lunch, Greg spoke to us about his career as a journalist and shared his insider perspective on the media’s approach to Israel in general and the events and aftermath of October 7 in particular. He also suggested different ways we can play a part in combating online hate. Greg’s latest book, A Shot to Save the World: The Inside Story of the Life-or-Death Race for the COVID-19 Vaccine, was distributed to lunch attendees. We thank Greg for coming to Israel to volunteer in support of the war effort and for taking the time to share his expertise with us.
