The civil False Claims Act (FCA) continues to be one of the most powerful and effective tools for government enforcement authorities. Every year, the US Government touts billions of dollars in settlements under the FCA, including from sophisticated government contractors with mature compliance systems. Please join us as we delve into the lifecycle of an FCA matter and address principal considerations from the perspective of federal prosecutors and government contractors. Our discussion will cover the key stages of identification, internal investigation, mitigation, disclosure, and (potentially) litigation and offer practical takeaways to help identify and mitigate FCA risk in your organization.
