The EU stimulus package
Implementation of next generation EU & reinforcement of multiannual financial framework 2021-2027 in reaction to the COVID-19-pandemic and its economic and social impacts.
The EU and its member states have to adopt emergency measures. At the request of the heads of state or government, the commission presented a very-wide Ranging package. From 17 July to 21 July, the European Council deliberated on the proposal of the commission in a special meeting.
