Qatar and Egypt sign Double Tax Treaty

On 27 February 2023, Qatar and Egypt signed a Double Tax Treaty (DTT) in Doha. Further details will be reported as soon as they become available.  

UAE and Republic of the Congo sign Double Tax Treaty

On 13 March 2023, the UAE and Congo signed a DTT in Abu Dhabi. Further details will be reported as soon as they become available. 

Israel and UAE sign Customs Agreement

On 26 March 2023, Israel and the UAE signed a Customs Agreement in Israel, which shall enable the free trade agreement, signed on 31 May 2022, to take effect.

UAE and Cambodia hold second round of Double Tax Treaty negotiations

The Cambodian General Department of Taxation stated that a second round of negotiations for a DTT was held between Cambodia and the UAE in Dubai from 4 to 6 April 2023.
