Tech Index 2020: Uncertainty drives tech change

With a perfect storm backdrop of Brexit confirmation and the COVID-19 pandemic, it’s perhaps not surprising, then, that our 2020 results show a marked and material deviation from the 2018 findings. The overall index score now stands at 67 and is the highest score since the European Technology Index began. With the health of the population, the environment and the economy having significant influence on our findings, our report highlights changing attitudes and has generated some intriguing insights on general trends across sectors and technologies.
