DLA Piper advises BestDoctor on USD4.5 million investment round

DLA Piper has advised BestDoctor, a Russian medical insurance startup, on its USD4.5 million investment round from a group of private investors led by Target Global, AddVenture and LVL1.

DLA Piper advised BestDoctor and its founders on every stage of the investment deal including negotiations and closing.

BestDoctor is an online platform offering high-tech insurance products for individuals and businesses. The company will use the raised funds to further develop its digital platform and expand sales by introducing new b2b and b2c products.

The DLA Piper team was led by Moscow-based Corporate partner and global co-head of Emerging Growth and Venture Capital, Leo Batalov, assisted by legal director Andrei Sheetkin and associate Alexandra Braterskaya.
