DLA Piper grows restructuring offering in Asia with new partner hire
DLA Piper is pleased to announce that Matthew Worth has joined the firm in its Hong Kong office as a partner in the Restructuring practice.
Matthew was previously at Linklaters, whom he joined in 2009. His practice focuses on special situations, restructuring, insolvency and distressed debt matters. His experience encompasses advising funds, financial institutions and corporates on matters including private credit, distressed investment, secondary debt trading, workouts/restructurings and formal insolvency. Matt also has experience of banking, acquisition and leveraged finance, and project finance and related structures and techniques.
Matthew has over six years’ experience in Hong Kong and has significant experience covering most Asian markets. Commenting on the hire, Regional Managing Partner in Asia, Satpal Gobindpuri, said: “The expansion of our restructuring capabilities in Asia is a strategic area of focus for us.
