DLA Piper Canada advised Cannacord Genuity in Curaleaf private placement
DLA Piper (Canada) LLP acted as Canadian legal advisor to Canaccord Genuity Corp., in its capacity as sole bookrunner and agent, in the private placement offering of Curaleaf Holdings, Inc. (CSE: CURA) (OTCQX: CURLF) ("Curaleaf") common shares for gross proceeds of $34.06 million.
Curaleaf is a leading vertically integrated cannabis operator in the United States. Curaleaf, which currently operates in 18 states with 57 dispensaries, 15 cultivation sites and 24 processing sites, employs over 2,200 people across the United States. The private placement, which closed on July 21, 2020, will support future expansion initiatives and further strengthen Curaleaf's position in the expanding U.S. cannabis market.
