DLA Piper advises Osceola Capital in recapitalization of Industry Services Company

DLA Piper represented Osceola Capital, a lower middle-market private equity firm, in the recapitalization of Industry Services Company (ISC), a leading provider of industrial maintenance services.

Concurrent with the transaction, ISC has completed the acquisition of Guy Nielson Company and will combine operations with DG Skouse, a division of ISC. The consolidated company is a leading national provider of industrial and refractory maintenance services and represents the seventh platform investment for Osceola’s current fund.

DLA Piper also represented Osceola in its recapitalization of Central Medical Group, a New Jersey-based provider of outsourced equipment management solutions for hospices, in June, as well as its investment in Healthcents, a leading provider of medical reimbursement and related services, in January.

“We were pleased to again partner with Osceola to advise on its recapitalization of ISC,” said Brian Gordon, the DLA Piper partner who led the firm’s deal team. “Our extensive private equity experience was a key asset in our handling of this transaction, which will allow Osceola to expand ISC’s platform and broaden its service offerings, positioning it well for continued growth.”

DLA Piper’s Private Equity practice includes more than 100 US lawyers who provide strategic counsel to private equity funds and the industry-leading companies they invest in. In 2019, Pitchbook recognized DLA Piper as the second most active private equity law firm globally, further solidifying the strength of the firm’s team and its depth of experience executing private equity transactions.
