DLA Piper advises BBVA Uruguay in US$15 million sustainable bond issuance
DLA Piper represented BBVA Uruguay in its US$15 million sustainable bond issuance.
The transaction marks the first sustainable bond issuance in the country. BBVA will use the funds to help small- and medium-sized enterprises, as well as initiatives related to the efficient use of energy, agriculture, green transport and sustainable construction, demonstrating its commitment to sustainability and environmental, social and governance (ESG) initiatives.
