DLA Piper advises on the sale of UAM Pigu

DLA Piper has advised MCI.PrivateVentures, an investment fund owned by the MCI Group, on the sale of Lithuanian based UAB Pigu, a leader in the e-commerce/marketplace segment in the Baltics, to Mid Europa Partners.

MCI Capital is one of the most rapidly growing Private Equity groups in the European region. The Group specialises in digital transformation services involving investments in pure play internet models, companies adapting to digital business models and those operating in the development market for internet infrastructure.

The completion of the transaction is subject to the usual approvals from the relevant antimonopoly authorities.

The DLA Piper team was overseen by Corporate partner Marta Frąckowiak with work carried out by senior associate Michał Gintowt, supported by lawyers in the Luxembourg office.
