DLA Piper advises private equity firm Symphony Technology Group on acquisition of Sciforma

DLA Piper has advised Symphony Technology Group (STG), a Palo Alto-based private equity firm focused on investing in the software, data analytics, and software-enabled technology services sectors on the acquisition of Sciforma, one of the largest providers of Portfolio & Project Management software.

The STG investment in the Sciforma platform will strengthen Sciforma’s flagship cloud offering. Leveraging Sciforma’s laser focus on best serving customer needs with the new financial backing will further accelerate innovation.

The DLA Piper team was led by partner Paris-based Corporate partner Sarmad Haidar, who was supported by senior associate Aymeric Robine, and associate Marine Petot. Partner Raphaël Béra and Associate Louis-Augustin Jourdan advised on tax aspects of the transaction. Partner Gregory Ruback (New-York based) advised on the financing aspects.
