DLA Piper named second best International Law Firm on the Russian M&A market

DLA Piper has been named the second best International Law Firm on the Russian M&A market at the Russia M&A Awards 2021. The event is organised by Preqveca, an information and analytical agency dedicated to the private equity industry and venture financing in Russia, Kazakhstan, Ukraine and other CIS countries.

In addition, DLA Piper was awarded “M&A Deal of the Year” for its work advising 2GIS, a Russian digital cartography service, on the sale of a controlling stake to Sber, Russia’s largest bank.

DLA Piper is the highest-ranked legal advisor in the world for M&A deal volume, according to Mergermarket's league tables. The firm, which has topped the Mergermarket list for 11 consecutive years, was involved in 650 transactions worldwide during 2020, valued at approximately USD127 billion.
