Sandra Wallace listed as one of the '20 most influential in Legal Services 2021' by Financial News

DLA Piper partner and joint managing director for the UK and Europe, Sandra Wallace, has been listed as one of the 20 most influential people in Legal Services by Financial News.

The inaugural listing of Europe's top business lawyers was drawn together by an editorial panel which evaluated candidates against criteria including influence over their business area, leadership within the sector, performance over the past year and the lawyer’s capacity to shape their business and/or the industry over the year ahead.

Sandra has been the firm’s joint managing director for the UK and Europe since January 2017. In the listing she is recognised not only for her management roles but for continuing to play an active role within the firms employment law practice. She is also recognised as a passionate believer in social mobility and equality, having been appointed to the government’s Social Mobility Commission in 2018 and as its interim co-chair in July 2020. She also co-chairs the UK government’s Social Mobility Taskforce and is part of DLA Piper’s diversity and inclusion council.
