DLA Piper advises Trajan Scientific and Medical on its IPO and ASX Listing

Global law firm DLA Piper is proud to have advised Trajan Scientific and Medical (Trajan) on its successful initial public offering (IPO) and ASX listing.

Trajan is a Melbourne based global developer and manufacturer of analytical and life sciences instruments and devices which was established by Stephen and Angela Tomisich in 2011.

Trajan’s shares commenced trading on the ASX today – Monday, 7 June 2021.

The IPO raised $90 million at an offer price of $1.70 per share.  The proceeds raised under the IPO are intend to be used by Trajan to execute on its exciting global growth initiatives.

The IPO was a complex transaction which involved preparing a substantial global business for admission to the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX).

The cross-jurisdictional team was led by partner Chris Mitchell with support from senior associate Chanel Mercurio, and solicitors Simon Rimmelzwaan and Davina Khoo. Chris and the Australian team were supported by colleagues from the United States, United Kingdom, Japan, Singapore, Canada, France, Switzerland, Germany and Denmark.
