DLA Piper partner Jeffrey Zanchelli named to Crain’s Chicago Business 2021 Notable Rising Stars in Law list

DLA Piper is pleased to announce that Jeffrey Zanchelli, a partner in the firm’s Chicago office, has been named to Crain’s Chicago Business’s 2021 Notable Rising Stars in Law list recognizing 74 attorneys who are “making an impact in all corners of their profession.”

In his practice, Zanchelli represents real estate fund sponsors and other real estate owners and operators in a variety of corporate transactions, including the formation and structuring of real estate private equity funds, management entities and joint ventures. He represents non-US clients on inbound real estate investments throughout the United States, as well as US-based clients focused on real estate investment opportunities in Canada, Europe and the UK.

In its profile of Zanchelli, Crain’s noted that he recently served as counsel to real estate private equity company Harrison Street in its US$720 million sale of three Cambridge, Massachusetts-based life sciences properties to Healthpeak Properties. The publication also noted his work on the Chicago Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights’ Law Project and his support of the Michael J. Fox Foundation, dedicated to finding a cure for Parkinson's disease.
