DLA Piper advises Russia’s SFI on the sale of Mospromstroy-Fond non-state pension fund
DLA Piper has advised SFI on the sale of 100% of its shares in Mospromstroy-Fond non-state pension fund to Vneshekonomfond, a non-state pension fund owned by the investment group Russkiye Fondy.
Earlier this year, SFI investment holding exited SAFMAR non-state pension fund, which was sold in Q1 of 2021. DLA Piper provided legal support for this transaction.
DLA Piper advised SFI on all legal aspects of the deal, including the preparation of transaction documents. The firm’s Moscow-based team was led by Corporate partner Evgeny Glukhov, assisted by senior associate Evgenia Kudryashova and paralegal Alexandra Khvorostyanova.
SFI is a public diversified investment holding. Its investment portfolio consists of Russian companies that have leading positions in their market segments. SFI combines leasing, insurance, pension and brokerage assets, as well as IT startups. The holding also invests in minority stakes in industrial and retail companies.
