DLA Piper strengthens employment practice with hire of senior counsel Dr Hans-Peter Löw

DLA Piper will strengthen its Frankfurt office with the appointment of Dr Hans-Peter Löw as senior counsel on 1 May 2022. The experienced and highly respected employment lawyer joins from Allen & Overy, where he was a partner since 2011 and led their German employment practice for several years. Prior to joining Allen & Overy, he also spent 15 years as a partner at another international law firm.

For more than 20 years, Dr Hans-Peter Löw's focus has been on providing employment law advice to companies in the financial industry, in particular in connection with executive remuneration, bonuses, incentive plans and employee participation programmes, along with related litigation. Advising on the interface with supervisory law, not only regulated compensation, is another main area of his expertise. Dr Hans-Peter Löw is a market leader especially in this areas. His work covers the strategic planning of structural measures and the development of staff solutions, including the elaboration of possible structures together with the management team and assistance in their implementation. The nationally and internationally strong sector-related focus of DLA Piper in the area of financial services ideally matches Dr Hans-Peter Löw’s own advisory approach.
