Magnus Oskarsson named new managing partner at DLA Piper in Sweden

DLA Piper has appointed Magnus Oskarsson as the new Country Managing Partner for DLA Piper in Sweden, effective 1 May 2024.

Magnus has been with DLA Piper since 2008. He mainly focuses on mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and capital raising. He’s well versed in the fintech sector and has realized multifaceted company growth in the global business community.

Magnus Oskarsson, says: “I'm proud and happy to have been entrusted with leading DLA Piper's operations in Sweden. Magnus succeeds Peter Näslund, who continues as a partner in the firm. Peter's leadership over the last seven years has helped the firm grow from a medium-sized firm to the leading global law firm in Sweden, with almost 250 employees. The firm has become a top tier law firm, completing the most corporate transactions in the Nordics, according to Mergermarket.
