DLA Piper’s Claire Hall named to The Hollywood Reporter’s 2025 Power Lawyers: Music list

DLA Piper is pleased to announce that Partner Claire Hall has been named to The Hollywood Reporter’s 2025 Power Lawyers: Music list recognizing the attorneys behind the music industry’s most significant matters.

In its profile of Hall, the publication highlighted her representation of independent music company Concord in its $1.765 billion music securitization and HarbourView Equity Partners in securing $500 million in financing backed by its catalog of music royalties.

Hall, who serves as Co-Head of DLA Piper’s Structured Finance practice, represents issuers, underwriters and investors across a broad range of domestic and cross-border structured, warehouse and asset-backed finance transactions covering both public deals and private placements. She played a leading role in some of the past year’s most notable music securitizations.

DLA Piper has one of the most active domestic and cross-border music rights finance practices in the industry, with unmatched experience in music rights securitization and other sophisticated financing techniques. The firm’s media and entertainment finance team represents lenders, financiers, sponsors, borrowers, issuers, and other participants in a wide range of market-leading music financings. In 2024 alone, the team served as primary counsel for clients generating over US$4 billion of music rights financings and is on track to meet or exceed that record in 2025.
